Biography
Neurosurgeon Anthony V. Maioriello, M.D., established Midwest Brain & Spine, an independent neurosurgery practice located in Davenport, Iowa, in March 2007. Previously, Dr. Maioriello treated patients through Quad City Neurosurgical Associates since 2004. A native of the Chicago suburbs, he attended Illinois Benedictine College for his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. Dr. Maioriello spent one year completing a two-year master’s degree in neurobiology and physiology at Northwestern University and went on to graduate from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his neurosurgical residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in June 2004. His clinical/surgical interests include minimally invasive spine surgery; general neurosurgery; surgery on the brain and spine for tumors and trauma; peripheral nerve surgery; stereotactic neurosurgery; neurosurgical intensive care; and surgical management of neck and low back pain.
